I am deeply honored to have been selected as the 61st President of CBOA. It goes without saying that, CBOA is rich in history and tradition. For me to follow in the footsteps of previous WNY Presidents such as, Nick Urzetta, Jim Leary, Thomas (Mudd) McGrath, and Mike Lonski make this more of an honor then you can imagine.
As active or former members of CBOA, all of us need to find ways to work with our newer less experienced officials to help make better than they currently are at officiating. We all must remember they will carry the torch and tradition and be the one’s to pass it on. All of us needed help to get where we are today regardless of the level achieved.
A special thanks to former President Dave Elliott who assisted in making this transition easy for me.
Tom Lopes, thanks for what you did to make this a great organization. Tom O’Connor, thanks for all you are doing to continue the tradition.
Lastly, I need to thank the Board of Directors and Area Representatives for their dedication, and support through the years and to you, the membership for selecting me as the 61st President of this great organization.
